Bless those DICE developers because the digital release of Battlefield 1943 only went and pulled in revenue of $16m for EA, launching on XBLA and PSN.
There’s still a PC version coming apparently. The other top performer was FIFA Ultimate Team DLC cashing up $45m in profit for FIFA 09 and 10.
EA CFO Eric Brown revealed the numbers as the two bits of digital wonderment totalled $61 million for the publisher. The Ultimate Team DLC figures came from FIFA 09 and 10 but not FIFA 11. It would seem DLC makes up 20% of EA’s digital revenue.
