It’s called Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution and stars the cunning Ninja Assassin who’s leading a ”deadly Claptrap revolution” on Pandora.
”A year ago Borderlands was an untested brand that through hard work and a lot of passion, turned out to be one of the best-selling, claptastic and skagtacular games we have ever created,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K.
“A year later, we are releasing our fourth DLC installment, Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution, which illustrates our enthusiasm for creating highly entertaining content that enhances a franchise. In addition to serving as the perfect bookend to the original game, what gamer doesn’t love a kung-fu-wielding Ninja Assassin Claptrap with nunchuck skills?”
Just like the other DLC add-ons, it offers complete co-op adventure fun-time that’s seamlessly integrated into the rest of the game. It features more than 20 new missions, with plenty of fresh loot and new enemies to grind through with guns.
It has ”original boss battles, waves of homicidal Claptraps, well-armed Hyperion soldiers, and local creatures that have been Claptrap-ified - including crab-traps, rakk-traps and skag-trapps.” You also get to earn another 10 skill points for a total of 71 and three more slots for your backpack, to cram in more blood-soaked implements.
Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in September for 800 Microsoft Points via XBLA or £6.29 through PSN and PC.
