Lace Mamba Global today announced that it will be delaying the release of Jane Jensen’s Gray Matter from October until 25th February 2011 on both Xbox 360 and PC.
We’re promised that this will be the final date for Gray Matter, and that the delay was needed to ensure that the game measures up to the required standards.
”I understand that this is very frustrating for consumers who have pre-ordered the game and we are very disappointed also as we have been building up to the release, started our marketing and PR but due to the tight time frames, and the need for more polishing of the game we had no alternative but to make a quick decision and delay the product until February. This will give the development team more time in ensuring that the game measures up to the standards that have been set, and we now know for certain that the date we have is the date Gray Matter will be available” said Jason Codd of Lace Mamba Global.
You can’t be too disappointed with the delay, because it can often be a good outcome to ensure that the final release is ready and bug free. What it really comes down to is if the developers can deliver with the extra time they’ve been granted.
Gray Matter will be available for PC and Xbox 360 on 25th February 2011.
