Bungie’s Marcus Lehto, creative director, has revealed they’ve kept all that we love about Halo multiplayer in Reach, but took ”pretty big risks”.
This is Bungie’s last Halo effort and they want something memorable, with Reach set as a prequel to the original game for Xbox. What risks?
Lehto wouldn’t divulge the risky secrets, when Joystiq asked. ”While we’ll still have all of the good stuff that players have come to know and love about Halo, we’ve made that better and given them new features on top of that,” explained the Bungie boss.
We’ll get the chance to peak at these ”pretty big risks” when the Halo: Reach beta starts in May, where fans can get to see these ”new multiplayer features”. The beta program is still only available through owning a Halo 3: ODST disc at present.
