Ubisoft is reducing the price of the North American special edition of Splinter Cell: Conviction because it suspects that there may be something wrong with part of the contents.
The special edition comes with a special USB flash drive that contains exclusive content, however the company has reported that it believes some may be faulty, after they conducted a random sampling.
In a pre-emptive strike almost, Ubisoft have slashed the price from $80 to $70, and have said that anyone who does get a faulty USB will be given the opportunity to grab the content off the internet.
Awfully nice of them.
