The firm disclosed the first playing figures for the game today, revealing that it has over 130,000 registered players.
The average player plays for over 4 hours each day, with payments averaging at $27 per month, which comes down to a combination of game time and user to user marketplace trading.
Joint administrator Paul Dounis, of business rescue and restructuring specialist Begbies Traynor commented “These are healthy numbers and reflect positively on APB as a ongoing concern. They prove this is a very enjoyable game, which is shown by the average player daily playtime and an ARPPU (Average Revenue per Paying User) that is highest of any game out there”
Realtime Worlds will be hoping that this data helps them find a buyer, but we’ll have to wait and see.
