Game director Sang Youn-Lee says they’ve ”completed the system,” but now they’re in deep talks over the ”billing policy.” They want to get changes.
”Our initial plan was we wanted to develop the console version first - the Xbox 360 version,” said director Youn-Lee. ”We actually have completed the system, but because of the policy, we felt that if we kept developing the PC version would have come out too late.”

”We have developed the Kingdom Under Fire series on Xbox 360 and we have a fanbase there. It’s very difficult not to develop a version of KUFII on Xbox 360. That’s why Microsoft wants to have Kingdom Under Fire II,” commented Kim.
”The problem is very strict” policy on Xbox Live, ”and it’s not easy to change it.”
”That’s why we are still discussing our billing policy,” she added, ”and we’re asking for some changes from Microsoft.” Many console MMO projects have faced huge roadblocks because of Microsoft’s very limiting policies for Xbox Live.
Champions Online was to hit Xbox 360 but Cryptic Studios finally threw in the towel in March this year. Square Enix has Final Fantasy XI and it’s the only successful MMO on the platform, but once again policy now hinders the release of Final Fantasy XIV Online.
