Yakuza developer Toshihiro Nagoshi has announced his team’s new game is Binary Domain, a sci-fi shooter with robots set in Tokyo in 2080.
Its focus is online play being made as fun as possible. Teamwork is a big thing and the enemy AI is the most complex their studio has attempted yet.
It appears from Famitsu magazine that Binary Domain will be a third-person shooter. Actual gameplay details are rather scarce at the moment with no hint at a release date either. It’s being developed for Xbox 360 and PS3. They’re going for a more western appeal. This confirms the earlier reports.
