Charles Cecil and the team at Revolution Software published a Christmas Video on its YouTube channel, wishing all its fans a happy new year. At the end, there was a small tease about the possible development of Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror Reforged.
Cecil holds some concept art prints, which show George Stobbart, the series’ main protagonist, in his iconic shades and beach outfit from The Smoking Mirror.
This would follow on from the release of Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged in September 2024, which was put in development after a successful Kickstarter campaign, which raised £618,626 of the £50,000 goal.
Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged is available now on PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PS5, iOS, and Android. The Switch version was released in November.
Revolution has confirmed it is working on the 6th entry in the series, with Broken Sword - Parzival’s Stone expected to be released in 2026.
