According to CVG, fansite Ultima Aiera has confirmed Phi Psi Software and Master System 8′s flash-based remakes have been removed at the request of the publisher, which acquired the rights to Ultima in 1992 when it purchased Origin System.
Making the legal orders interesting is that a job post was uncovered earlier this week that revealed that EA is working on a “revolutionary” MMO, and BioWare Mythic creative director Paul Barnett recently teased a “secret project” on Twitter.
This seems to hint of a new Ultima MMO; the current Ultima Online MMO is fourteen years old - ancient by MMO standards.
