Sony has issued a press release in Japan stating that the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be back online in a week.
According to the Japanese language presser:
From July 06 to customers in Japan, you can enjoy all the features of the service Qriocity ™ and PlayStation ® Network, including the following features.

PlayStation®Store: All functions of the PlayStation ® Store

Japanese gamers will probably be happy to purchase games on PSN after being shut out during the outage. Japan is the last country to have PSN service after the 50 day outage starting in late April.
