It’s tentatively just called ‘Resident Evil 5’ right now because catchy subtitles take time and six figure pay cheques. It will release in late 2012 and be in 3D.
This will follow on from the hugely successful fourth instalment Resi Evil: Afterlife which drew in over $200 million, the biggest performance yet for the series. Once again it’s extremely likely to follow the exploits of Alice, a character made up for the movies.
