The community manager of GMG posted on the site, ”Bad news folks, we very unfortunately have to pull down EA products from sale in all regions except for the UK. We’re currently in talks with EA to see if this can be changed, however I can’t give any kind of guarantees aside from saying as soon as I know something I will let you know too.”
No reason was given by GMG for the pulling of EA titles, nor why the UK was exempt. This appears to be a different reason that the absence of select EA games from Steam - in that case, it was Valve’s policy regarding downlodable content, and it wasn’t EA’s total catalog, just games that had in-game DLC downloading.
We’ll update this story when we find out more about it.
