Microsoft’s Phil Spencer says they ”don’t know” if they’ve signed their new project. They’d ”love to work” with them again and do have ”ongoing conversations”
An Xbox Live Arcade title is rumoured to be in the works at Remedy. ”I read that … I don’t know that they’ve signed it with anybody,” said Microsoft’s Spencer. Alan Wake has become one of Xbox 360’s flagship exclusive IPs despite low sales.
”I’d love to work with Remedy again, we have ongoing conversations with them,” he continued. The XBLA title is believed to be something related to Alan Wake but Spencer’s words confirm there’s no dead cert yet to Alan Wake 2.
”I think the stuff they’re doing now they wanted to incubate, Mattias and the team,” Spencer said. ”They wanted to incubate internally. Like I said, I don’t think they’ve signed it with anybody.” Would you welcome an Alan Wake sequel, videogamer?
