Some new information regarding Final Fantasy XIII-2 has been revealed: the game is 90 percent complete and the official release date will be announced at Tokyo Game Show 2011, which will be held at the end of this week.
This confirmation came from XIII-2 director Motomu Toriyama, who was answering questions at a fan event in Tokyo.
Some other information imparted by Toriyama included the fact that XIII saves will receive some bonuses, XIII-2 will have more than 150 monsters to raise, Chocobos will be rideable anywhere in the game and the game will include a series-unique red Chocobo.
