We fight in a place called ‘The Frontier’ where Rift Energy is earned and spent as currency. It’s got RTS-flavour with turret placement and recruitable troops.
SixAxis has been ditched from the game which was a heavy feature in Warhawk. The new real-time strategy elements are a big focus for Starhawk. ”We wanted to make creating units as easy and visceral as pulling the trigger on a weapon,” said LightBox’s Dylan Jobe.
The two factions are the Outcasts and Rift Miners who fight over Rift Energy, which we earn as we get kills and complete objectives. We can then spend that currency on things we want. A debut trailer has been aired of GameTrailers TV after images got leaked.
