It’s a sad day especially for the British videogames industry as Activision-owned Bizarre Creations has now officially closed its doors for good.
In tribute to the development studio which began life in 1994, a Bizarre guy has put together a special clip saluting the pumpkin and his fellow minions.
The studio was better known for its Project Gotham Racing series for Microsoft’s Xbox platform, as well as the delightfully addict Geometry Wars. Most recently they released their own new racing IP Blur and James Bond 007: Blood Stone.
Some of you Dreamcast boffs might have noticed that the Bizarre Creations logo above is the one the studio used for Metropolis Street Racer - it was used during 2000-2001. See below for the tribute video from Bizarre Creations’ Eamon Urtone. Farewell!
