Larry Hryb, aka Major Nelson, is announcing that pre-orders for Gears of War 3 have already topped 1M, making it the most pre-ordered Xbox 360 game ever. Apparently, the multiplayer beta that a whopping 1.29M users engaged in whet their appetites for the main game.
Hryb also released the following statistics:
