Microsoft Xbox Live marketing manager Robin Burrowes has announced that 35 million people globally across 35 countries are Xbox Live users.
Now, this does not include paid subscibers, but most of MIcrosoft’s revenue for the Xbox 360 comes in the forms of digital transactions, such as game sales, downloadable content and “other digital items”, which probably means “Avatar clothing”.
35 million users is an increase of 5 million from last year’s totals. With 50 million Xbox 360 owners, that means 70% of them are connected to Live, with the rest either being offline or multiple console users.
