Amazon now controls Lovefilm, buys up rest of its 58 percent

Movie and videogame rental service Lovefilm is now owned by retailer Amazon as they expanded their 42 percent stake to encompass all of it.

It’s not disclosed how much Amazon paid to buyout control. Lovefilm posts out films and games to members, but also streams on PS3 and PC.

When members of Lovefilm have had enough of the movie or game they’ve rented they simply send them back and Lovefilm will send out whatever is next on the member’s wish list. They had begun streaming films on PS3 and PC.
