Sony has announced that select PlayStation Portable games would be ported to the PlayStation 3, with HD graphics, new content, revamped controller support and 3D visuals, and will allow PS3 players to do multiplayer with PSP owners of the portable version. Even more interesting is that save games will translate between machines.
The first announced title is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, which has been a runaway hit in Japan. Rumored titles include Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and the PSP versions of the God of War games.
