THQ is chuffed with estimations that Kaos Studios’ Homefront has blasted past 1 million sales worldwide and they continue to ”fulfil new retail orders”.
In fact they’ve shipped 2.4 million units of the game to date. The ‘what if’ future shooter is ”clearly resonating with gamers” said CEO Brian Farrell.
Homefront is selling in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. ”We are very pleased with strong worldwide shipments and sell-through for Homefront, and we continue to fulfil new retail orders for the game across the globe,” said THQ president and CEO Farrell.
”Homefront is clearly resonating with gamers and we are certainly pleased with our initial sales results.” THQ looks to have a winner of an IP on its hands despite critic reviews averaging out to around 70, which usually spells doom for newcomers.
