Insomniac unveil free-to-play strategy game Global Resistance

Resistance 3’s Insomniac Games has announced Global Resistance, a free-to-play strategy game where you play as the Chimera or a Human commander.

Taking over the world nets you exclusive Resistance 3 goodies like multiplayer skins, in-game titles and boosts to XP. A Facebook account is needed to play.

Insomniac want to keep the spotlight on Resistance 3 until it launches so what better way than to appeal to our hunger for world domination? Sadly a Facebook username is needed and not just a PlayStation Network account.

Resistance 3 releases exclusively on PS3 September 6th in the US, 9th in Europe.
