There has been a lot of confusion and rumors about when the online multiplayer beta for Battlefield 3 would begin, and who would get early access.
An old rumor has resurfaced regarding the beta, stating that DICE would launch the beta on September 9th for Medal of Honor owners and Origin users, and September 11th for everyone else.
DICE has put that rumor to bed, stating that there is still no set release date for Battlefield 3’s online beta and that they would only say the beta will begin sometime in September. They did confirm, however, owners of Medal of Honor and players who preordered Battlefield 3 on Origin would get 48 hours early access.
In more gameplay related news, DICE did mention that sniper rifles can’t one hit body kill in Battlefield 3, which will cool down a large segment of Battlefield 3 players - and enrage a whole new segment.
