TimeGate have said that a third game in the Section 8 franchise is already being worked on, despite their upcoming sequel, Prejudice, not even being out yet.
Speaking to Strategy Informer, TimeGate CEO Adel Chaveleh commented that the next sequel was being prototyped, and mused that it was the same as when the first Section 8 game was being made.
”When Section 8 was done we already knew we were doing Prejudice, we just didn’t know the how or the when.”
He also hinted that the studio would be returning to the Strategy genre in which they made their name, with franchises such as Kohan and Axis and Allies.
”We will return to the Strategy, without a doubt,” he said. ”We’ll have a new perspective, and let’s say you haven’t seen the last of Kohan either.”
Don’t forget to check out our hands on preview of Section 8: Prejudice, which will be out sometime before the end of Q1 2011.
