The developers of the MMORTS Saga have reformed as Goblin Templar, and have announced that it is working on a sequel, Saga Kingdoms. The game is now seeking to raise $100K on Kickstarter.
According to the developer, ”Our indie studio launched the Saga Kingdoms project on Kickstarter a few hours ago. Our original game SAGA was revolutionary and this time we are aiming much higher. With your help and the support of players who are tired of iterations of the same design, we seek to create something truly amazing.
“In addition to constructing their own kingdoms, players will be able to take over outposts in the world and join guilds to form mighty empires. SAGA Kingdoms is more than just a Player-vs-Player game. Like every true MMO, the world of Gaia is filled with hundreds of quests and challenges. Some can be overcome alone, but many others will require groups of players to conquer. Of course the toughest quests will reward success with the most powerful magic items.”
The original Saga earned an 8.0/10 score in Strategy Informer’s review.
