The social networking service will feature a new rewards program as well as a new iOS and Android app that will allow players to connect with the Club remotely. It will allow them to stay on top of auctions and purchases in the EA Sports Football Club Catalog.
Veteran FIFA players will be happy to know that all of the experience points and level rankings they achieved with the Football Club for FIFA 12 will be carried over into 13. If that weren’t enough, they’ll receive a special bonus in the Catalog for remaining loyal gamers.
Fans can also now earn Football Club Credits to unlock items such as kits, special celebrations, virtual pro attribute boosts, Career Mode super scout credits, FIFA Soccer 13 Ultimate Team coin boosts, and extra matches in Head-to-Head Seasons mode, as well as social networking that will allow them to connect with friends via Facebook.
Finally, at the conference, EA announced that superstar soccer player Lionel Messi will be the cover athlete of FIFA 13.
FIFA 13 will be released worldwide this Fall 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and other platforms.
