Planetside 2's second continent available for beta testers

Planetside 2 beta testers will get the chance to experience a second continent this week.

Esamir is pretty bare in comparison to other areas on the game. It is distinctively snowy and has less structures than Indar.

Sony promises that vehicles will handle differently in the icy conditions. Players are also likely to change their method of assault on enemy bases. You should have time to plan your defence if someone is spotted in the distance.

A third continent will be available, but it looks like this could arrive post-launch. Planetside 2 is expected to go live later this year and is free-to-play (unless you want bonuses).
