Edward McMullen’s hit Steam indie title, The Binding of Isaac, will be getting a “mega expansion” that will increase the size of the game by 50%. There are no details on what the expansion will include, but there should be new items and a new set of Trinkets that add “passive bonuses”, as well as a new fortune teller machine which issue power-ups.
The expansion was revealed by The Indie Game Magazine, and will reportedly be titled The Wrath of the Lamb and cost $3 USD.
The Binding of Isaac is a disturbing multi-directional action game similar to Smash TV and the old NES Zelda titles. McMullen is best known for his role in developing Super Meat Boy.
