The PlayStation Network version of the original Killzone was supposed to be released two weeks ago on the 24th January, but it hasn’t appeared since.
Now, the official Killzone Twitter feed has announced that the game has been delayed indefinitely, stating flatly, “With regards to KZ1 for PS3, not sure what happened but I’ve been informed that it’s been delayed indefinitely.”
The official Twitter account then repeated, ”I have no further info about KZ1 for PS3, save for the fact that it’s delayed indefinitely. If I learn anything else, I’ll tweet it here”, and yet again, ”All I know is ‘delayed indefinitely’ - anything beyond that would be conjecture on my part.”
Comically, in a classic bit that resembled the child repeatedly asking his parents on a road trip if they were there yet, the Killzone rep stated in a series of tweets, ”Nothing new at the moment, I’m afraid,” “No comment :P”, ”No comment! :P”, and finally, in Dutch, ”Helaas, daar kan ik geen commentaar op geven”, which means, ”Unfortunately, I can not comment on that.”
The original Killzone was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2004.
