Namco Bandai has announced that One Piece: Pirate Warriors, the first game in the long running series to hit the PlayStation 3, will be arriving on Western shores later this year. The game was released on the 1st March in Japan.
The game remains faithful to the One Piece manga by Eiichiro Oda, and will allow players to take on the roles of various characters from the series including regulars Luffy, Zorro, and Nami, each with their own unique moves. The moves themselves will be executed with simple controls similar to that of the Dynasty Warriors games.
The last One Piece game to be released was five years ago with One Piece: Gear Spirit for the Nintendo DS.
