The update will feature a new auxiliary weapon - the ultimate boom-stick, a rocket launcher. This will be accompanied by a third weapon slot and an eight ability hot-bar slot, so it won’t displace any current builds for players. Funcom went on to hint at the future inclusion of chainsaws ”for a real Texas-style massacre.”
Players will also be able to alter their PC’s looks with the new store, “Modern Prometheus”, which will allow players to undergo plastic surgery. The first visit is free, but afterwards, players will have to pay for the option of getting nipped and tucked. Similarly, the “Ockham’s Razor” barbershop will allow players to change their hairstyle.
Of course, the update will also feature new missions, including “Digging Deeper”, which continues the main storyline dealing with Kingsmouth Congregational, as well as “Death and Taxes”, “Strangers from a Strange Land”, and “Transylvania.” The rocket launcher itself is a reward for a weapon mission in which players must intercept a shipment of them.
Finally, the update includes to new “Nightmare Missions”, including “The Facility” and “Hell Eternal.”
