Paradox has announced that the first downloadable content for War of the Roses will be arriving this November, and it will add new weapons as well as customizable heavy armor.
The DLC will feature the horn-spanned crossbow, a Hospitaller pollaxe (made famous by the company of knights bearing the same name) and the Milanese Knights Hospitaller crafted Heavy Armor; the armor can be customized with any of 10 different paint options, as well as an assortment of new visors and one new helmet.
Later in the winter, Paradox will be releasing two new game modes and new snow-laden maps for winter combat. It will also include two new maps, inspired by the battles of Wakefield and Towton, with skirmishes fought in the dead of winter from December 1460 to March 1461.
