It seems developer Bugbear Entertainment is taking a page from TrackMania in allowing gamers to create and share their own race tracks in Ridge Racer Unbounded.
The map editor comes in two flavors: simple and advanced. The simple map editor basically allows the player to add blocks of track and assemble it like one might do with Lego blocks. Simply stack them together, making sure the track is contiguous.
The advanced editor allows players to create some wild tracks, with loop-de-loops, falling debris, jumps, and obstacles for cars to smash through.
For anyone who wished they could create their own tracks in Burnout, Ridge Racer Unbounded may be well worth a look. Check out the map editor mode in the video below.
