A demo for Capcom’s Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is now available for consumption via Xbox Live, which is the publisher’s upcoming Kinect-based mech shooter set in a WWII style.
Kinect gestures and the traditional Xbox 360 controller work together as players control their mechs and lay waste to other mechs, and fox holed troops. Capcom say it’s really accurate.
Really accurate for a Kinect game that is, perhaps the most accurate Kinect title to-date. Obviously the bit about mechs isn’t all the accurate. Gold users get it first as usual.
Yes the gentleman’s club of Xbox Live Gold subs get their pickings first while we freeloading types have to wait a week before the scraps are thrown our way. Check out the gameplay trailer below for some idea about just how much arm waving will be involved. You might need to pump those guns, marine.
Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor releases on Xbox 360 June 19th in the US, 22nd in EU.
