It seems that players will be able to purchase Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 separately, as an alternative to buying both in the Silent Hill HD Collection bundle.
This was hinted at when the PEGI ratings board listed two different ratings for each game, in addition to the rating for the HD Collection itself.
It’s similar to what was done with Sega’s Dreamcast Collection, with each of its four games released on Xbox Live Arcade then as a bundle. It wouldn’t be farfetched that Konami would want to maximize its profits by releasing both games individually on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
Silent Hill HD Collection is due to be released on the 6th March on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
