Ubisoft has promised that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier would feature split-screen cooperative play early in the game’s development. However, that feature was dropped, much to the disappointment of fans. Ubisoft apologized in their official forums.
The forum post read, ”We’ve been made aware of the presence of outdated information on UbiShop and several retailer sites stating split screen, cooperative play is available in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’s campaign. We have ensured the information has been updated on the sites affected by this.”
The feature is not advertised on the current box art, fortunately.
