The official PlayStation website listed Quantic Dreams’ Beyond: Two Souls as arriving May 25th next year, which then quickly reverted back to its previously vague 2013. Sony calls it a mistake.
May 25th, 2013 would mean the release would happen on a Saturday in the US, which violates retailer launch physics and would doom the universe. A Sony rep stated it was ”incorrect”, and that’s that.
”We have not announced a release date for Beyond: Two Souls outside of the 2013 time frame,” clarified a Sony spokesperson, referring to PlayStation.com’s listing.
They continued: ”In fact, David Cage recently shared that the title is preparing for the alpha version so the date reported on the product site is incorrect and has since been updated.” Beyond: Two Souls is the next big project from Quantic Dreams after Heavy Rain. It stars a young female lead accompanied by invisible supernatural entity.
