DaSilva is endowed with a new series of powers and perks based on his “plant and trigger” bomb abilities in the original game’s “Signal from Beyond” mission, with players having a choice between using them or Carter’s normal abilities on the skill tree.
The game has DaSilva and his squad dealing with other agents infected with the “Sleepwalker” pathogen; they must be injected with an elerium-based compound gas in order to visualize and combat the mental defenses of the infected agents. Players will also get new weapons in the form of the AK-47 and a prototype Microwave Gun that cooks enemies from the inside out.
The DLC will exclusively be on the Xbox 360 on the 8th October 2013 for $4.99.
