Twitch has announced today that the PC version of Mojang’s uber-popular boxy building game Minecraft will be getting native Twitch.tv streaming support.
The announcement was made at MineCon 2013 in Orlando, FL, as Twitch’s VP of marketing Matthew DiPietro stated, “Minecraft has struck a very powerful chord with the Twitch community. Expect a watershed moment for both players and spectators once the ability to easily broadcast (Minecraft)’s gameplay directly to Twitch goes live.”
The addition of native Twitch.tv support in Minecraft will ”soon”.
