New Jersey-based developer Code Avarice has started a Kickstarter drive for its blocky shooter Paranautical Activity, which the developer states combines ”classic FPS action from Doom & Quake with randomness of roguelikes like Isaac & Spelunky.”
The beta version is already for sale directly from the official site, but players can save a few dollars backing it on Kickstarter for $8, the minimum to get the game as a reward.
The game has already funded half its $10K goal with four weeks to go. At $12K, the game will add Occulus Rift support. The $15K goal will add an Infinite Mode, while $20K and $30K stretch goals will add Multiplayer Co-Op and Competitive Co-Op respectively. The drive will end in four weeks.
Gamers interested in backing the Kickstarter can do so here. The Steam Greenlight page can be found here.
