In an official press release, Ronimo Games announced the first content release date for the Kickstarter funded Starstorm, an expansion to Awesomenauts.
The initial release will be an ”early access package”, with further content released as part of a multi-stage distribution. It features Ted McPain, an all new character who carries a ‘transformable hand-cannon’, along with various custom game settings.
According to the press release:
”This early access package is only the tip of the iceberg for all the content that will be in the Starstorm expansion. Four more characters are on the way, a completely new map, a lot more customisation options, a custom game browser and most importantly, replays and spectator modes.”
