Contraption Maker will cover the same ground that the original game did, but with modern machines, the Rube Goldberg-esque machines can be far more sophisticated, utilizing physics. ”Modern physics and a new C++ codebase removes old limitations, allowing you to make the contraptions of your dreams,” boasts the developer.
The game will also include the use of animals such as alligators, cats, and hamsters.
Finally, the game will take advantage of social networking to allow players to share puzzles and extravagant machines. An alpha build will be available from the official site here.
Contraption Maker will be released on PC and Mac this Summer 2013.
