Take-Two has "extraordinary pipeline" of next-gen titles

Strauss Zelnick of Take-Two assures us that their development studios are frothing at the mouth just as much as everybody elses’ for the next generation hardware, and IP is already in the works.

He teases ”groundbreaking new” IP as well as ”releases from our proven franchises” are being worked on. What IP sequels could be among the first to go next-gen?

Hopefully Rockstar Games has been holding back the likes of Agent for PlayStation 4, as well as that long rumoured production on Bully 2.

”We also have an extraordinary pipeline of titles in development for next-generation platforms,” said Zelnick, ”including groundbreaking new intellectual property and releases from our proven franchises. As a result, our current outlook is to be profitable on a non-GAAP basis in fiscal 2015 and for the foreseeable future.”

All this talk comes from Take-Two’s latest investor call which saw the publisher enjoy $1.2bn in revenue for FY2013. Unfortunately we won’t get a peek at anything for quite a while, and certainly not at E3 in June.
