Developer Mediatonic has announced a new take on the Castle Crashers-styled side-scrolling beat’em up in Foul Play, which will be released on Steam and Xbox Live Arcade on the 18th September.
In this case, life is actually a stage, as the right daring adventurer and daemon hunter Baron Dashforth spins his tale in front of a theater audience, acting it out in front of them. Not only is it important, in this case, to defeat the vile baddies, but he must entertain the audience at the same time.
Naturally, everything that occurs according to Dashford is ENTIRELY TRUE, so the actors and actresses on the stage must perform their best, to make sure that the exploits of Dashford are properly portrayed.
