The comic is from writer Tom Taylor and artist Jason Shawn Alexander. Mad Max was rumoured to be in the works at Avalanche for years but only recently was confirmed.
Avalanche has a solid history in the open world business with solid praise for Just Cause 2, which even spawned a significant multiplayer mod project by fans.

Mad Max releases on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 in 2014.
