Petroglyph’s bid to fund Victory through Kickstarter has failed. The team, who suffered recent lay-offs when Trion took the End of Nations development from it to finish the game in-house, recently updated its Kickstarter page to confirm the news.
It seems the game was never realistically going to receive backing. Only $30,000 of a $700,000 total was raised. Petroglyph are trying to stay positive and suggest the team will be back with new ideas soon.”We’ve listened carefully to what the Kickstarter community has said, and it has given us many ideas of games we could do in the future,” the developer wrote.
”Additionally, multiple game publishers have expressed interest in Victory, based on your support, and we hope to still bring Victory to you with their help.”
It seems there may be hope.
