Pre-order poster confirms Commander Mode in Battlefield 4, names first DLC

Retailer EB Games has confirmed DICE has included the cob-webbed Commander Mode in Battlefield 4, which has a single individual guiding their team’s strategy - it’s like trying to herd cats, really.

Also mentioned is Drone Strike as the first downloadable content, although no date is provided, but it’ll add ”exclusive uniforms, weapons, and more,” declares the promotional poster.

Also teased is Battlelog 2.0 which is the ”next version of the state of the art gaming portal.” At the end we’re promised a ”thrilling singleplayer campaign” spanning the globe.

According to early leaks of promotional gear from GameStop there’ll be three factions to choose from in multiplayer; the US, Russia and China. The EB Games poster mentions an October 31st release for Battlefield 4, which is typical for Australia as it lands on a Thursday. This means the US is likely October 29th, and EU November 1st.
