We’ve been scouring through the Internet to find some of the latest Indie games that are free to download and play. You’re probably aware that we add new games to our download database daily, but now and again we like to remind you about some of the ones that are especially interesting.
Adventure Island is a light hearted point-and-click adventure game created by Elen Heart. While playing you may find familiar footprints from games such as Myst, Atlantis, Black Mirror, Syberia, Broken Sword, Monkey Island, The Dig, and many more.
The plot of the game is about a seasoned adventurer, Annie Player, who is called upon to find a team of missing scientists sent to survey a newly discovered island. This isn’t just any old island though, as Annie quickly finds that this is one offering her many challenges. With your help Annie will uncover a sinister plot that threatens the existence of the Human race.
The game offers a range of puzzles with varying difficulty levels, plenty of exotic locations and a number of characters to interact with. It’s mostly a third person point-and-click game, but there’s a couple of sections where you also play in first person mode. You may encounter a few bugs while playing, but these should be fixed with patches as time goes on.
