As with the previous MMO, the game will be aimed at family fun, but the studio promises there will be “gameplay depth”, as well as 100 collectible minifigs.
The MMO will be as destructible as the first MMO, with building puzzles included. ”Interact with the environment around you and use it to your advantage! Smash an enemy turret and re-build it to work for you, destroy a wall to discover a hidden passage and even build machines to help you take down the big bosses,” states the press release. Different minifigs will have different abilities as well.
Funcom released an announcement trailer, as seen in the video below, and launched the official LEGO Minifigures Online site here. The MMO will launch on PC in late 2014.
